Part 1

John 16:7-11 – THE HOLY SPIRIT CONVICTS OF THESE THINGS ONLY

 ⁷Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

 ⁸And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

 ⁹Of sin, because they believe not on me;

 ¹⁰Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

 ¹¹Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.  (He isn’t what he used to be)


Note: the Holy Spirit was sent to convict of these 3 things  - See below

1. To Reprove the world of Sin = the unbelievers those who haven't accepted Christ. Once they have accepted Christ then they will move to the next level beginning with righteousness

2. Of Rigteousness = to remind uw Christians of who we are when we are doing things that don't fit who we now are in Christ and our inner man(Spirit)

3. and of Judgement=  this is for boldness in the day that people try to judge us as Chirstians. Reminding us that no one can Judge we who are Spiritual who are in Christ but the Lord!

1 Corinthians 2:15

¹⁵But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man

Note:  The Holy Spirit is a compass that guides us into the Truth of who we are by His conviction.    The Holsy spirit causes us to be more Righteous conscious not sin conscious.  

I has been the biggest trick of the devil to have Christians believing that we have to confess sin.   Once we feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit informing us that we are the Righteousness of God in Christ and that behavior doesn't suit who we are in Christ-- We simply turn from it.    

I myself proclaim out of my mouth when I have been urged by the Holy Spirit that I am going the wrong route are missed the mark- I state I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and as Christ is So AM I  in this world, then I keep going.

Please meditate on the first set of scripures and pray to God for revelation.

Hebrews 2:14-15    Death is final – He died for us/ as Us - For all time

¹⁴Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

 ¹⁵And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

 ¹⁶For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

 ¹⁷Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

 ¹⁸For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Note: Destroy is Greek= Kar –thar-geo –Meaning Rendered Powerless   (Know the Devil Isn’t  what he used to be (Power =kro–tos means Might) the devil No longer has this.

Note: This usage of the Word is only used once referring to the devil, is used throughout the Bible for the Might of God(Krotos)  

Definition for Understanding

Secure: kept safe or defended from danger, risk or injury or loss - able to withstand attack - financially sound - free from fear or doubt; easy in mind- assure payment of

Note: The power He had it was commissioned by the law- (The law was nailed to the Cross.  The devil had that authority Under the Law.

I Corinthians 15:56-57
⁵⁶The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
⁵⁷But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Colossians: 2:13-15   THE WRITING= the Law was nailed to the Cross

¹³And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

 ¹⁴Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

 ¹⁵And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. (disarmed principalities)=(demons and spiritual wickedness)

We have been given power and mastery over the devil and all of his agents.

The abolished handwriting  that was contrary to us in the scripture above is THE LAW

We are no longer under Law but we are under GRACE  ALL SIN FOR ALL TIME HAS BEEN PAID OF Past, Present and Future sin.   All acts and Ommisions  - Meaning what we did stupid or unGodly last week, what we may do today and what we will do in the future contrary to the Word of God --  it is has been paid for with the Precious Blood of Jesus.
