Yet as Christians many of us sit by watching things go on that we have the power within us to prevent from happening or to bring relief in situations where there has been calamity.
The Word of God tells us that AS WE GO, that the Lord will show forth His Glory with signs and wonders. In the name of Jesus we heal the sick, we cleanse the lepers, we cast out demons and raise the dead, and we are to do it freely because freely it has been given to us.
Mind you, we do have to study to show ourselves approved to rightly devide the word of Truth! But no matter where you are in your developement in Christ, as a Christian you can be a blessing to those who are not saved as well as you brothers in sisters in Christ. It is just time to go. Don't be ashamed that you don't know it all, we never will, we will be a work in progress until the day of Christ, but in continuing in His Word we do grow in our faith, thus growing in power!
Many of us pray, and ask the Lord our God for what He has already given to us by the Power of Might that dwells in us by His Spirit! Simply put, nothing in the world will get done unless the Body of Christ rises up and speaks life into this, seemingly hopeless situation. There is always hope in the Glory that is Christ!
Our Lord Has fully qualified us and equipped us to be the Ministers of the Gospel of Christ! We need only Go! We are to preach to those who don't know and reprove brothers and sisters in Christ who have not developed in the warriors they are called to be. Fathful is He who will also do it!
Mark 16:15
15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature
Luke 4:17-19
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Moving forth in Faith and obeying the Great Commission
I recall the moment I heard the Lord call me to speak His Word the Prayer Call. I grew anxious, as I began to make excuses on how I didn't think I was ready. Then when He addressed my anxiety, I said "but it is my first time." I will never forget His quick, but powerful reply, the Lord said to me " Yea, but it is not my first time." So my ministry has begun and I rest on the fact that I will not be anxious because anything the Lord calls you to do, He will do! You need only Go!
